Ophelia Syndrome is band I’ve had the pleasure of working with recently. They are tracking six songs to be released late this year or early 2009. We’ve made good use of the facilities at Catherine North to capture the sound of a real piano for this recording. Although there are some great sampled pianos out there, nothing compares to the air, openness and idiosyncrasies of a real piano. We have yet to finish vocal and cello overdubs; the project is coming along quite well.
