Money on the Dead is Jeff Brett (a.k.a. Oliver Peach) and Derek Higgins’ latest project. The CD will be seeing the light of day very shortly. The master disc is being sent to the presses this week.
The album was recorded at Catherine North Studios by me and Dan Achen between June and September of 2008; it was mixed by Dan at Catherine North and mastered by Joe Lambert at Trutone Mastering Labs in New York. The other instrumentalists on the record were bassist Ryan Allen (The Speakeasies, The Miniatures) and Corey W. Schmidt (Scarboro Aquarium Club) on drums and keyboards. I even got to play keys on a couple tracks and a glockenspiel solo on the song “Silence” (click the player below to hear a sample).
