Well, it’s been about a month now, and my typing speed is almost as fast as it was on ye olde qwerty keyboard. So, I’m sticking with it. I figure if it’s only taken a month to get up to my old speed, in another month I should be flying. But even if I don’t end up typing at the speed of light, I already notice how much more ergonomic the key setup is… really, I tried typing on a qwerty the other day, and it felt so unnatural. Okay, the Dvorak didn’t exactly feel great when I started, but my fingers got to prefer it pretty quickly. Suffice it to say, I am a proud Dvorak typist.

I’m officially back to Qwerty. It’s unfortunate but true. The change happened because I started to work at a studio other than my own, and of course, they hadn’t switched to Dvorak. However, my fingers still have a soft sport for a Dvorak keyboard.
